ESI Technologies was founded in 1984 with a focus on commercial security for Colorado businesses. Over four decades we’ve grown through shifts in technology, ownership, and the security industry itself. What hasn’t changed: we design, install, and support security systems that work, and we back that up with local people who are still around when something needs attention.

Today ESI operates from two offices on the Colorado Front Range. Fort Collins serves Northern Colorado. Colorado Springs serves Southern Colorado. Each office runs its own dispatch, employs local technicians, and handles its own service calls. When you need us, you’re calling a local number and reaching a local team.

ESI is a full-service commercial security integrator. We handle security, AV, and fire alarm under one contract: the same team, the same project manager, the same service number. Services include:

• Commercial Security Systems: Surveillance cameras, access control, and intrusion detection. Designed for your facility, installed by our team, supported long-term.
• 24/7 Monitoring: UL-listed central station monitoring with video verification and custom response protocols.
• Remote Guarding: Live operators monitoring your cameras in real time and intervening via audio before incidents develop.
• Managed Security Services: Full outsourced security management under a single ongoing agreement.
• Commercial AV Systems: Conference room displays, video conferencing, and digital signage installed by the same team that handles your security.
• Fire Alarm Systems: Installation and inspection for clients who want security, AV, and fire alarm under one contractor.

Credentials

• Master Electrician license (Colorado DORA): ESI’s General Manager holds a state-issued Master Electrician license. Most security integrators have no licensed electricians on staff. It means ESI can handle electrical work in-house and reflects a higher bar for technical competency across the team.
• CJIS (Criminal Justice Information Services): Required to work in or around law enforcement facilities, courts, jails, and dispatch centers. ESI holds this certification, one of the few commercial security integrators in Colorado that does.
• NICET Level I and II (fire alarm systems): Our fire alarm technicians hold NICET certification, the nationally recognized standard for fire alarm installation and inspection. NICET-certified technicians perform all ESI fire alarm installations and NFPA 72 annual inspections.

ESI is an authorized dealer and installer for the manufacturers we work with. We’re trained and certified by each vendor, which means manufacturer warranty coverage, direct technical support, and equipment that performs as specified. Our primary partners:
